Enjoy restful solitude on the Cartecay River right outside the back door. Buffered by GA wilderness area, The Riverhouse sits on a small rapid with large rocks available to sit and just watch the river go by. The river is a certified GA trout stream and a few rainbows have been caught and grilled! The House also offers easy access to drop off points for tubing down the river right to your back yard.
The Riverhouse could best be described as elegant with a mountain flair. Four bedroom, 4.5 bath house sits right on the Cartecay River with spacious decks on three levels. A Bunk room offers additional room for the children. Jacuzzi, wide screen high def TV, DVD, complete stereo system, Elliptical machine, and wireless internet offers plenty of chance to get a way and unwind. And it’s only 1.5 hours from downtown Atlanta. The winter time features gas fireplaces in three of the bed rooms and a gas heater on the back deck.
The Riverhouse is a beautifully decorated four bedroom, four and a half bath log home that sleeps up to eleven (11) people and offers the following:
 Two Master Bedrooms each with Queen size beds, luxurious 400+ count sheets, and a fireplace in each
Wood-burning fireplace in the living room, central heat and air, washer and dryer
Covered porch and connecting deck with stunning mountain views, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and propane gas grill
Game room with large screen Satellite TV with Network Channels, DVD/VCR, board and card games, and books
DSL internet connection
Bath essentials such as private label soap and shampoo, hair dryer and thick towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and coffee maker
Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Rates are $225 per night plus tax for up to six (6) guests, each
additional guest above six (6), age of one (1) year or older, $15 per night
plus tax
- Weekly rates are $1435 plus tax, plus each additional guest above six
(6), age of one (1) year or older, $90 per week per person plus tax.

Cleaning fee $125.

Two night minimum stay on non-holidays.

Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day,
4th of July, Labor Day, and the month of October.

Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!
Because we are truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food bowl and water bowl.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $30 cancellation fee.
No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival
