Located in Morganton, just minutes from Blue Ridge, Cucina Rustica offers a fine dining experience, serving "country style Italian dishes in an Old-World atmosphere", while La Pizzeria at Cucina is a more casual dining experience in the vein of a traditional New York-style pizzeria. Both promote the culinary inspirations of Chef Danny Mellman. Cucina Rustica's wood-fire oven creations include specialties like the Classico, Margherita, Funghi, and Rustica – all for $16 or less, but TripAdvisor member Loretta C says, "Honestly I really don’t think you could choose anything that was not delicious". La Pizzeria bolsters its casual vibe with a variety of community events like shuffleboard leagues, bocce tournaments and dart nights, and a commitment to "classic ingredients and simple pies" like the Sicilian ($20), the veggie lover's Mona Lisa ($20), and the meaty Da Vinci ($21). TripAdvisor members rave about The Rebel specialty pizza, and BGreenfl loved the Mona Lisa, claiming "the crust was excellent and the toppings fresh". Autto3535 offers exceptional praise, stating "this is FANTASTIC pizza, on par with anything you can get in NYC or a gourmet joint".

Some may say that there's no wrong way to make a pizza, but here in Blue Ridge, we'd like to think we're doing it especially right! Which of these Northern Georgia pie-slingers will you be checking out during your stay?
