Description
Our Favorite Place, the name says it all! New to Blue Sky Cabin Rentals as of April 2021, this cabin has it all. Sure to be a fisherman’s “favorite place”, this cabin sits on Ritchie Creek providing a nice place to cool off or tell stories down by the fire pit. You’re sure to relax here and soak all your cares away in the large hot tub. A true rustic, cabin experience in the mountains yet conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Don’t forget to bring your fur babies, as this darling cabin is pet-friendly! The kitchen here is fully equipped to make your favorite suppers while listening to the relaxing creek sounds. We can’t wait to hear about all the memories you’ll make at your new “Favorite Place!”
Amenities
Our Favorite Place is a rustic 2 bedroom, 2 bath Creekside cabin that sleeps 4 people and offers the following:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more that this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
Required Fees include $115 Cleaning fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and a 13% lodging tax

This was the first time I had booked a cabin and I had questions that popped up that were quickly answered by the friendly staff. Hailey and Mikaela were very nice and answered all my questions. When we arrived, we were met by one of the staff making sure that the outside lights were working properly. He was very nice and gave my husband fishing information and helpful hints about where to go fish.

We were super impressed with the cabin. Very clean, well maintained, fully equipped with all the essentials. Beds were super comfy. TV had lots of options and channels. Fire pit was a great way to end the day, very relaxing. Love the walk around porch.

Enjoyed long walks, sitting on the porch. Went to the Horse Shoe Park to fish and play in the water. Plus relaxed, relaxed and relaxed. Celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in peace and quite. Saw a deer and a cardinal family in the tree outside the kitchen window. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and all instructions were very clear. We had a great time!
P.S. If you have arthritis go to the Amish store and get the ointment, it works!

This cabin was amazing...everything that we could have wanted! We didn't know that the indoor fireplace was gas, but that made it so much more convenient - and we still were able to enjoy wood-burning fires in the fire pit by the creek. Everything was just perfect, and it made our hearts happy to have our dog with us and to be able to see her have so much fun in the mountains!

Its hard to say just one thing was my favorite. I loved the mountains and the snow we had the first night was magical. The hot tub was such a bonus. Its so close to the back entrance of the cabin that I never was cold. Its was just a relaxing wonderful experience. I loved the way little extras were there such as trash bags, hand soap, bath soap, even washing pods and dishwasher pods. The high ceilings were just wonderful with the beautiful wooden exposed beams.

It was perfect from beginning to end. This place is so well secluded but at the same time close to town with anything you might need. It was like traveling to a foreign land without the long travel times. I enjoyed every minute of the balconies, porch, hot tub, trails and surrounding beauty and mountains.

"Our Favorite Place" is where we stayed, and indeed that cabin is now my favorite place. It was very clean and relaxing. All the kitchen necessities that one would need to cook any meal. The two balcony decks are perfectly placed overlooking the creek. The main deck was my office space during work hours. I had the perfect view and sounds of the flowing creek. The creek on the property was so relaxing to sit by and my dogs loved it even in 30-degree weather. We were in the hot tub every single day! The privacy and peace and quiet was the best part, well next to the hot tub! Be sure to take daily walks, the surrounding area is beautiful too!

Nice cute cabin in a quiet area with a close drive to town. The cabin was cute and in a great location! We have been staying in rental cabins every year for 20+ years so are well versed on what to expect. The internet was super fast in movies and options were a pleasant surprise.
