The Blue Ridge Mountains Wine and Jazz Festival is an exciting family-friendly annual event taking place in June. The host of the event, White Path Creek Farms, is 51 acres of North Georgia mountain paradise. Spend a day admiring the beautiful views of the North Georgia mountains while enjoying tasty local wine, delicious cuisine, and America’s legendary style of music, jazz.

Helping the region achieve recognition as a cultural tourism destination, the festival features a wonderful line-up of professional jazz musicians with impressive resumes. The festival also helps raise money for local jazz music and education student programs.

The vineyards and wineries providing the local wine for the event are Buckley Vineyards, Chateau Meichtry, Creekside Farm & Vineyard, and Engelheim Vineyards. There is a vino for everyone, including a great mix of reds, whites, and roses. Wine can be purchased by the glass or bottle.

In addition to wine and music, a great variety of delicious foods are prepared by local establishments. There are plenty of options, from small bites to more filling meals, so no worries about going hungry!

Food

The good news is this is a culinary-centered event, so there will be plenty to choose from. No outside food or drink is allowed other than a water bottle. Leave coolers, tents, large bags and backpacks, weapons, and fireworks at home.

Family Friendly

Children under 18 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied guests must be at least 18 years of age.

The event will take place rain or shine! Bring a small umbrella or raincoat in case the weather doesn’t cooperate!

The Blue Ridge Mountains Wine and Jazz Festival 2023 happens on Saturday, June 24th, 2023. Festivities run from 11 AM to 8:30 PM, with music, wine, and food throughout the day.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online. Children under 12 are free. Choose from three ticket tiers (2023):

  • General Admission: ($70) Includes lawn seating with access to all the food and drink vendors.
  • VIP Seating: ($140) Includes voucher for two glasses of wine, catered meal, and free water.
  • VIP Table of 8: ($1,200) Large groups can book an entire table and receive all the benefits of VIP seating.

The festival takes place on the beautiful grassy lawn at White Path Creek Farms, so you might wish to bring something to sit on. A picnic blanket or lawn chairs are recommended to stay comfortable throughout the day.

  • Flat Creek Loop: 6 miles roundtrip. This moderately strenuous hike is located outside of Morganton and is beloved for its numerous small waterfalls and beautiful scenery.
  • Benton MacKaye Trail: 288 miles, many options for section hikes. For a real workout and a great way to experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, consider hiking a section of the Benton MacKaye trail. This trail stretches from Springer Mountain, GA, and terminates at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but there are multiple trailheads for beautiful sections throughout the North Georgia area.
