Situated in the Chattahoochee National Forest close to the Cohutta Wilderness area, this park offers a variety of outdoor activities. Hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders will find some of the most beautiful trails in northern Georgia.

|Amicalola Falls is the tallest cascade (729 feet) in the Southeast with great scenery and hiking trails, so itís one of Georgiaís most popular state parks. There are pathways to a challenging trail with staircases to view the falling water. Also, there is an eight and a half mile trail from the park to Springer Mountain, which is the southern end of the Appalachian Trail.
