Fort Mountain State Park

Fort Mountain State Park 181 Fort Mountain Rd. Amicalola State Park

Amicalola Falls is the tallest cascade (729 feet) in the Southeast with great scenery and hiking trails, so itís one of Georgiaís most popular state parks. There are pathways to a challenging trail with staircases to view the falling water. Also, there is an eight and a half mile trail from the park to Springer Mountain, which is the southern end of the Appalachian Trail. *offers 12 miles of hiking trails, playgrounds, waterfall, biking, Len Foote Hike Inn, mountain view resturaunt, ropes course, and trout fishing.
