| Amicalola Falls is the tallest cascade (729 feet) in the Southeast with great scenery and hiking trails, so it’s one of Georgia’s most popular state parks. There are pathways to a challenging trail with staircases to view the falling water. Also, there is an eight and a half mile trail from the park to Springer Mountain, which is the southern end of the Appalachian Trail.
