Meet Our Team

Since 2004, Blue Sky Cabin Rentals has been the go-to company for anyone looking to rent a cabin in the North Georgia mountains – or for property owners who are looking for the best service in the region.  

Our goal is to do what it takes to make sure that all of our guests have the experience of a lifetime, while giving our employees a great place to work.  We love living here, and we love working at Blue Sky Cabin Rentals. We want to give you all the chance to get to know our fantastic team

 

Brad Spencer, Owner/CEO

“We pride ourselves in offering a rental company that is trustworthy, caring, and always strives to do what is necessary to serve the best interests of each aspect of the triad: GUESTS – OWNERS – EMPLOYEES .” This statement from Brad is a simple yet powerful statement of the ideal of Blue Sky Cabin Rentals. From the beginning, Brad had a vision of service and leadership when he established Blue Sky in 2004.  Through this vision he has grown the company from just a few cabins, to more than 150 properties around the Ellijay and Blue Ridge area. Brad’s goal is to show that we are a secure partner with some of the highest standards in the cabin rental industry. “We appreciate your continued partnership and we look forward to many more years together in the future.”

 


Stephanie Spencer, Owner/Director of Operations

Stephanie came to Blue Sky Cabin Rentals with 11 years of experience in management and customer service. She joined our team in September 2012 in our Welcome Center. Since then she has worked in several departments including Reservations and Housekeeping.  These experiences have broadened her knowledge base of the Blue Sky Cabin Rentals operation. Stephanie carries the principles of Blue Sky Cabin Rentals into every aspect of the day to day operations. Like Brad, she is committed to serving the triad of GUESTS – OWNERS – EMPLOYEES – in a manner that will keep Blue Sky in the forefront for years to come.

 


 Sheri Bunch, Director of Property Management

Sheri comes to Blue Sky with 14 years experience at the local newspaper. She joined Blue Sky in 2016 as the front desk clerk . Her knowledge of the area has been a great asset and allowed her to move seamlessly into her role as our Director of Property Management. Sheri wears many hats here at Blue Sky and she does an amazing job at everything she does. Her enthusiasm and strong organizational skills help her to manage the fast paced department, in keeping with the demands of a company that expects everyone to strive to always do their best.

 


 Sarah Leach, Property Manager

Sarah comes to us from the insurance industry where she specialized in personal insurance, as well as writing polices for homes on the vacation rental programs. Because of her experience in this area and strong customer service skills we are excited to have here on the BSCR team! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking.  Sarah is one who is willing to tackle any task and does it with a smile!

 


Drew Harrington, Property Manager

Drew has been a vital team player here at Blue Sky Cabin Rentals since 2012! He was first hired to work within our housekeeping department.  Drew first served as a supervisor’s assistant, and later as a lead inspector.  Drew moved to the maintenance department in 2016.  He recently accepted his latest challenge within the Blue Sky family, that of property manager.

 


Crystal Lynch, On Boarding and New Property Specialist

Crystal Lynch, born and raised right here in Ellijay, GA, has been a part of our team here at Blue Sky since 2012! She began within the housekeeping department as a cleaner and an inspector. Soon she was pulled out of the field and into the office to play a vital role on our reservations team.  She now is an amazing asset to our property management department. We are so pleased to have Crystal as our on-boarding specialist and one of our valued property managers!

 


 Katie Daniels, Director of Reservations/New Property Specialist

Katie came to Blue Sky after working as a Senior Office Manager for a major cell phone company and was responsible for 17 stores in 4 states. She also has a background in travel, working for a major retailer in reservations and marketing. A fun fact, Katie has been a client of Blue Sky since 2005, having rented many cabins from us, and later even purchasing her own cabin. She has a keen insight into the rental program and a genuine passion for customer service. She has recently moved from our Owner Relations department to head the Reservations Department.  She is a strong motivator and inspires the team to do their part to serve our guests, our owners and the community.

 Dee Edwards, Guest Relations Manager

Dee Edwards comes from the insurance industry, and has 12 years experience in the customer service and guest relations field. She is a wonderful addition to the Blue Sky Cabin Rentals team with her positive personality and go get ’em attitude. She has the skills needed to head our guest relations and inquires department.  Dee’s goals include doing all that is necessary to make sure our guests return time and time again to Blue Sky!

 


Nicole Jones, Cleaning/Inspecting Supervisor

Nicole comes to us with 7 years experience in the cabin rental industry. She brings to the team a strong leadership role and the ability to help in all departments. Nicole graduated with a degree in criminal justice, and she strives to stay in touch with the trends in the property management/travel industries.  She works hard to meet her primary professional goal; to make sure that Blue Sky is the best cabin rental company around!  When she is not at work, she loves spending time outdoors in the area that she has lived in all of her life, with her dog as her sidekick.

 


 Mike Benner, Maintenance Supervisor

Mike has come on board with Blue Sky as the new maintenance director! He has lived in the North GA Mountains since 2014, but has ties to the area from the early 1980’s. He comes to us as a retired member of law enforcement, but with experience in new home construction, inspections and remodeling,  making him the perfect choice to lead our Maintenance department. We are so excited to have Mike on board!

 


Julie Johnson, Accounting Manager

Julie was recruited by BSCR in November 2013. She has 15 years of experience in management. Currently, Julie oversees the finance department of BSCR – ensuring it meets its obligations and continues to grow at a stable, yet strategic pace.  Julie has been a great asset to our company over the past 5 years and has been dedicated to the development of the brand. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking and outdoor activities.
