This was our first time. My husband and I spent the weekend at Brown Bear Bungalow. We were their for our 33rd anniversary weekend. We enjoyed the peacefulness. Really if we had known for sure we could have brought groceries and stay at cabin.

Brown Bear Bungalow, need to trim back trees they are growing up and covering view of sunset and it is gorgeous.

We found the property very nice and the views were beautiful.

Aquaahol

Very restful, calm, and beautuful. We had everything we needed, including kindling for campfires. I don't recommend renting the canoes, however, unless you can haul them on a truck. We were refunded though, which I'm grateful for.

BEARROCK LODGE

We have been coming to Blue Sky for 10 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. We come for the peace and quiet of the mountains and are never disappointed. Our dogs can come with us which is why we started using Blue Sky in the first place! On occasion we have had to call maintenance for a minor issue and their response is immediate, everyone at Blue Sky is fantastic. Thank you so very much for the service you provide for those of us who just want to disconnect and rest for a few days!!

It was a very enjoyable experience from initial website visit to check out. Friendly, professional staff was helpful at every turn. Loved the area so much I plan to move there soon.

More than accommodating for any problems associated with the property.The rapid response of the staff to contact the proper personal to make repairs and the owner to approve was completed in such a rapid fashion. The owner and staff were very sympathetic to make the corrections.

Last Resort - Last Call

House was adaquate, stay was pleasant, house inside was clean. Spa clean.

While the first trip up the mountain in the dark was a little difficult, it was very well worth it. Very clean and well kept, overall a fantastic experience. We will certainly be back.

Brown Bear Bungalow

Great quiet place to stay. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again in the future. Only thing is we wish the vegetation was cut around fire pit and along creek..the two hammocks were down by the creek and dirty

Creek runs through it

Overall, the cabin provided the perfect location for our long weekend away. Everything we needed was right there and the view was spectacular. We have looked at other rental websites in the past, but nothing compares to the reliable quality we know we will get when renting with Blue Sky Cabins. Thanks for another great vacation! The Skyline cabin does need some attention, however. When we entered the property, we found it to be very dusty overall. The master bathroom sink was slow draining and we could have used a full set of matching dishes. Nothing was bad enough for us to call you, though, and overall we had a great trip. We were also a little concerned that there was not a deadbolt or other kind of lock on the door besides the one in the doorknob. Then again, we didn't have any problems or see anyone else that high on the mountain, so this is probably not an actual problem as much as it is an adjustment in thinking needed on our part coming from Atlanta to the peace and quiet of the mountains. Loved the Big Foot Museum which I don't think you even mentioned in your information about the area. It is right there in Cherry Log and people come from all over the U.S. to visit it. Definitely worth the mention! The nearby Farms, Orchards and Wineries in Ellijay and Shopping in Blue Ridge were just as quaint and entertaining as we remembered. :)
