Down by the river

Overall, our stay in The Hens Roost was a warm experience. The cabin itself is very conducive to relaxation. Blue Sky Cabin is a well run company and my interaction with representatives was great.

The Hens Roost

I could say that the property was awful...but I would only be doing that to keep the place to ourselves. We have been staying at Blue Sky cabins for many years...this was the best cabin of them all. The cabin and location were superb. The furnishings and kitchen was perfect. They had things in the kitchen that most cabins do not have. They even had a crockpot which we used. We will most assuredly be back here in the near future.

Tranquility on the Creek

We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 7 and 10. We had a great time at Deer Run Pond! Very peaceful and clean. The kids loved fishing and going out in the canoe. One day was rainy, so the basement game room was perfect! Lots to do in the area! We would definitely rent here again!

We have used blue sky for several years, always a great experience, we have and do recommend to friends and family, loved the cabin, the view and our stay, we will return again!

Awesome view

The location and accommodations were excellent. Good view and hot tub. Visited Amicalola Falls. We ended up getting engaged at the top of the waterfall and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. I strongly recommend.

Stayed at Bearadise Lodge for 6 days with 6 adults and four kids during the kid's Spring Break and enjoyed every minute despite the three days of rain and cold. The lodge's game room kept the kids busy, and the fire pit and hot tub occupied the adults. Excellent rustic cabin with all the modern conveniences. Highly recommend it!

The cabin is awesome! Really it is. It was the perfect getaway. River is nice to fish in and listen to... cabinet is nicely decorated with everything you need. They have a nice propane fire table that is so good after you get out of the hot tub. The fire pit near the river is great too! They even have a fireplace outside on the deck! Lots of relaxing things to do. The house is also stocked with movies and has a game table/room. We did have some issues with the cable, tv, internet, and phone, but it was resolved for the most part and wasn't huge issue with us because we went there to get away from that. The only thing I would say is that they need a new hot tub. Only one seat of jets worked the whole time we were there. It seems old and by the last night, had given out on us and the water started leaking. The tv in the living room gave out on us too. I don't know what happened, it seemed like everything was happening while we were there, but we still had a great time. We will be going back next year... but hoping they get a new hot tub by then :-)
